Tami Noa was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. After high school and a few College Art History classes, her sights were set on Toronto. She pursued higher learning at York University, taking down a solid Bachelor of Fine Art degree. Only in the years to follow did she start developing her signature style; unbelievable drips, hyperactive colour and an illustrative sensability. Her work is grounded in the rural landscape of her past, spiked with the energy of her urban present.
